Oriental Burgers

500g lean pork mince
1/4 cup each: fresh breadcrumbs, chopped watercress
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon finely grated root ginger
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon soy sauce


Topping:

4 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1/2 cup chopped mung bean sprouts

4 sprigs coriander

 

 

Combine the pork with the breadcrumbs, watercress, garlic, ginger, egg and soy sauce.

 

Mix well.

 

Form into 4 equal patties.

 

Grill for about 5 minutes each side or until cooked.

 

Serve topped with the hoisin sauce, mung bean sprouts and coriander.

 

Serves 4.
